Strengthening Connections at April GCCI Networking Event

It was a pleasure to host the April networking event for the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce & Industry at the Gladstone Visitor Information Centre, bringing together members of the local business community for an evening of connection, collaboration and shared insight.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to welcome both new and familiar faces into our space, fostering meaningful conversations and the exchange of ideas across industries. Attendees also heard more about our recently launched 2026–2036 Tourism Strategic Plan, offering a forward-looking perspective on the role tourism will play in shaping the region over the next decade.
Tourism continues to be a key driver of economic activity across the Gladstone Region, supporting local jobs, businesses and investment. Events like this highlight the important connection between tourism and the broader business community, reinforcing the value of working together to strengthen the region’s economic future.
