DEEPWATER
The freshwater wetlands, high sand dunes and open forest will entice to adventure through Deepwater National Park. Find rare birds in their natural habitat and witness marine turtles hatching between January and April. Explore rock pools at Wreck Rock, picnic or camp at the campsite behind the dunes, or pitch a tent at Middle Rock, 4WD is recommended.

KROOMBIT TOPS STATE FOREST
The wet and dry rainforest, mighty sandstone cliffs, grand gorges, creeks and waterfalls make up Kroombit Tops. Walk 3.2 km (return) to the World War II’s B-54 Liberator bomber ‘Beautiful Betsy’. Camp overnight at one of the two self-sufficient campsites. Suitable for conventional vehicles, however a 4WD is required for other roads.

CURTIS ISLAND
The unspoilt beaches, calm bays, wilderness and wetlands, windswept coastline, long beaches and sweeping sand dunes provide solitude for adventurous campers. Bush camp under coastal Sheoaks with beach access for 4WDs. Please note there are no facilities in the National Park. Access to Curtis Island is via private boat or vehicular ferry with Curtis Ferry Services.
