Traveller’s Rest 1770

Description

Traveller’s Rest 1770 Eco Retreat
Stay in Nature. Experience something remarkable.

Located on 44 acres of native bushland just minutes from Agnes Water and the historic Town of 1770 on Queensland’s Discovery Coast, Traveller’s Rest 1770 is more than a place to stay – it is a place to experience, discover and reconnect with the natural world.

Spacious powered and unpowered camping is offered, together with a growing collection of authentic, small group nature experiences including BushTracks Eco Tours, Mike’s Moonlit Tales, Tiny Wonders, birdwatching, forest bathing and an accessible bushland boardwalk.

The location places guests between the Australian Bush and the Coast, close to Eurimbula National Park, Agnes Water, the Town of 1770 and the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Who is Traveller’s Rest 1770 for?

Traveller’s Rest is best suited to travellers who value nature, space, wildlife and being part of meaningful experiences.

What makes Traveller’s Rest 1770 different?

Accommodation is provided along with authentic experiences. The experience begins right here. Visitors can walk through native bushland, listen for birds from the bird hide, discover bush foods and traditional uses of plants, sit beneath the stars, and hear stories shaped by decades of experience about Australia’s natural landscape.

Everything being developed at Traveller’s Rest 1770 shares one purpose:
“Connecting People with Nature, and Nature with People!”
