Covering just 5.24 acres, Wilson Island is the ultimate island castaway experience, offering seclusion in a setting of unrivalled natural beauty and playing host to just 18 guests at any one time. Access

Access to Wilson Island is via Heron Island which is a 40-minute boat ride away. Transfer times between Heron and Wilson Islands are subject to tide and weather conditions and may vary accordingly.

  • Wilson Island is an adults-only private hideaway. Staying on Wilson Island is exclusive. We mean limited to under 18 guests exclusive – home to just nine Reef Safari Eco Tents nestled amongst the ancient Pisonia Forest.
  • There’s beach access to the best snorkelling of your life. The fringing reef around Wilson Island means you can snorkel straight off the beach and spot marine life, big and small – and all equipment is provided at the resort.
  • You’ll share the island with a few locals. When you stay on Wilson Island, the locals have four fins and spend their days swimming the waters of the Great Barrier Reef.
