Canoe Point – Tannum Sands
Let your four-legged friend run freely off-leash on the sand and jump in the water for a refreshing dip at Canoe Point Beach! Dogs are permitted in the parklands; however, they must be kept on a leash. Pack a picnic lunch, some swimmers and enjoy the day out!

Spinnaker Park – Gladstone
Spinnaker Park is not just a ‘must do’ for spectacular harbour views, but it is also the perfect spot to take your furry friend for a walk. The parklands are dotted with tall shady trees, native ponds and picnic areas. After a walk, why not reward yourself with a treat from the local Café Spinnaker Park
Webb Park, Palm Drive – Gladstone
Webb Park is one of Gladstone’s hidden gems – equipped with a dedicated exercise park for your pooch! Here you’ll find plenty of grassy spots and a shelter hut to sit and relax when it gets too warm. There’s even a dog obstacle course to show off some skills.
East Shores Precinct – Gladstone
Take your furry friend for a scenic walk through the award winning East Shores Precinct. Boosting stunning views of Auckland Creek, it’s the perfect spot for a morning walk. Stop by The Dock at East Shores with your dog for a little pick me up.
Agnes Water Beach, Agnes Street
The long, sandy stretch of Agnes Water beach is extremely popular with dog owners in Agnes Water. This slice of paradise permits dogs off leash north of the Agnes Water Beach Marker – SS1 – Surf Club Avenue’ beach access point only. Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the bathing area of Agnes Water Beach.

1770 Beach – Town of 1770
Hire a kayak or SUP and explore the paradise surrounding you… The tranquil waters at the Town of 1770 are perfect for you and your four legged friends! Head to one of the local cafes before or after your visit and grab a coffee or craft beer!
Camping

Workmans Beach Camping Ground – Agnes Water
One of the less crowded beaches makes this a must visit dog beach in Agnes Water. The camping ground is only a short 200m walk from the beach and offers stunning views across Agnes Water. There are 38 camp sites available. Dogs must be on a leash at all times while in the camp grounds.
South End Camping Ground – Curtis Island
Even man’s best friend needs a little RnR and an island getaway is just what we had in mind. South End Camping Ground offers 20 unpowered sites, tranquil ocean vistas and stretches of uninhabited beach. Doggos are welcomed here and must be kept on a leash at all times.
The Oaks Camping Ground – Facing Island
There’s no need to leave your furry friend at home, especially when peaceful beachfront camping is on offer! The Oaks at Facing Island is great for day tripping or if you plan to stay a little longer, there are 32 unpowered sites available. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

Lilley’s Beach – Tannum Sands
Lilley’s Beach is a popular weekend camping spot for locals and their four-legged friends! The beach extends along the coast and is accessible by 4WD only. The camping area is at the northern end of the beach, within the fenced enclosed area. Lilley’s Beach is a designated dog off-leash area, but your dog is required to be under effective voice command at all times. Owners must clean up after their dogs.

Agnes Palms Beachside Apartments – Agnes Water
Agnes Palms Beachside Apartments offer budget overnight or weekly holiday accommodation. These apartments are located in a tropical setting only 200m from the pristine main beach of Agnes Water. Pets are allowed on request.
Captain Cook Holiday Village – Town of 1770
Nestled in the gorgeous surroundings of the Town of 1770, Captain Cook Holiday Village offer a variety of accommodation from villas to camping sites. Caravan sites are allowed pets with prior request, outside of peak periods.
