Builyan

Located 70 kilometres west of Gladstone is the Boyne Valley. This small rural community is comprised of four townships; Nagoorin, Ubobo, Many Peaks and of course, Builyan.

Put on the map in the late 1800s by the discovery of gold and copper, this area is now better known for its timber and agricultural industries and is also the catchment area for the Region's water source - Lake Awoonga.
