CRUISE SHORE EXCURSION COMPANIES

All shore excursions which are sold by the cruise lines are organized by the company they have employed to handle that aspect of their operations. 

We are currently working with three companies who organize tours on behalf of the cruise lines which have either previously visited or are keen to dock in Gladstone.

BOB WOOD

Carnival Corporation (which includes P&O Cruises, Australia, and Holland America Line amongst many others), employ Bob Wood Cruise Group to operate the tours for the ships which dock in our region.  As Carnival was the predominant cruise line to dock in Gladstone from 2016-2019 Bob Wood Cruise Group is very familiar with our region and the tours which operated during that period.  For that reason, they are keen to work directly with those operators again (and a select few other operators they have expressed an interest in).  If you were part of this, you should have received an email from GAPDL.  If you didn’t receive that email and believe you should have, please let us know ASAP as Bob Wood are keen to finalise their proposals.

AKORN AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND

Akorn currently serves 29 cruise lines including Dream Cruises, which docked in our region in 2019.  They are somewhat familiar with our region.  Some of the brands which make up their portfolio require tours for the more discerning traveller.

INTERCRUISES SHORESIDE & PORT SERVICES

This company is keen to bring a wider range of cruise lines into our region, which haven’t previously docked here.

SUBMITTING YOUR TOUR EXCURSION PROPOSAL:

New Operators

Submit the basic outline of your tour CLICK HERE to submit your Cruise Excursion Proposal EOI

This will provide us with sufficient information to enable us to establish whether this tour may be suitable.  It will allow us to commence communications with you and the shore excursion companies.
