With community events galore this April, there's something on for everyone - even your beloved furry friend! 

Gladstone's Biggest Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny is coming to town! He's brought thousands of eggs and is waiting for you to discover them. Kids will have a ball with the Easter egg hunt, giant inflatables and craft areas. Limited to 400 children (12 yrs and under), so get in quick.

When: Sunday 1st April from 12:30pm – 3:00pm
Where: Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre
Cost: $3 per child

Gladstone Harbour Festival Street Parade - 2014

Wrap up a fantastic few days at the Gladstone Harbour Festival and watch the festival street parade go by! This year's parade will be themed as a 'Parade of Sails', so park up and view the parade as it makes its way through the beautiful GPC Marina Parklands.

When: Sunday 1st April from 3:00pm
Where: Starts and ends at Bryan Jordan Drive, Gladstone Marina
Cost: Free to attend

Gladstone Pump Track

The Gladstone Skate Park will come alive every second Thursday night. Enjoy a free sausage sizzle, listen to music and hang out with mates in a safe and friendly environment!

When: Every second Thursday night – Thursday 5th April from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Where: Gladstone PCYC, 53 Yarroon Street

Beach Arts Music - BAM Markets

If you're all about relaxing beach vibes... then look no further than the BAM Markets! These markets are held on the first Saturday of each month from March to December. Stroll through the stalls filled with delicious food, vintage clothing and live entertainment.

When: Every first Saturday of each month – Saturday 7th April from 2:00pm – 7:00pm
Where: Millennium Esplanade, Tannum Sands
Cost: Free

Paws and Pints help the RSPCA

Bring your furry friend to The Dock on a Sunday afternoon for live music, drinks and a whole lot of fun! There's even professional dog photography and dog treats available, as well as the chance to meet some RSPCA dogs that are up for adoption. Let's help raise funds for our local RSPCA branch.

When: Every second and fourth Sunday - Sunday 8th  and 22nd of April from 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Where: The Dock at East Shores, Gladstone
Cost: Free to attend

Community Discovery Centre - Boyne Valley

The Boyne Valley will come alive for a weekend of campfire jamming, good company and live music! Head down for the day or bring your van, tent or swag and camp out at the Discovery Centre at Ubobo. Market stalls will be operating Saturday, plus food, drinks and coffee will be available.

When: Friday 13th April – Sunday 15th April, times vary
Where: Community Discovery Centre, Ubobo
Cost: Entry fee $15 – camping costs vary

Up Close & Personal with Opera Queensland

​If you love Opera, then you will love this show! Enjoy an evening with three of Opera Queensland's finest artists, at a performance created exclusively for Gladstone. Take your seat and dine on a menu designed exclusively for the event, then sit back and enjoy the well-known arias and duets as they perform a fascinating feast of songs from swoon all the way to sultry. 

When: Friday 27th April from 7:00pm – 9:30pm 
Where: Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre
