With many vantage points to bare witness to a sunrise/set in Agnes Water, you'll be addicted to the picturesque seaside and skies as you watch the sun rise and set over the ocean.

3. Gladstone Marina

Don't let the fact that Gladstone is an industrial town fool you! It produces some of the most glorious sunrises/sets in the region and this Gladstone Harbour shot is proof of that.

4. Town of 1770

Untouched, exclusive and pure is one way of describing the Town of 1770 so it will come as no surprise that a top thing to do here is to watch the famous 1770 sunset!

5. Lady Musgrave Island

Lady Musgrave Island has it all - reef, island, beautifully coloured corals, marine life, turtles and of course, breath-taking sunsets!

You may need a pemit for North West Island but the experience of un-plugging is well worth it, as is the vision on the horizon as each new day comes and goes.

7. Tannum Sands

After enjoying a day of sun, sand and salt, taking in a Tannum Sands sunset is the perfect ending!

8. Mount Larcom

Whether you watch the sunset from the top of Mount Larcom and enjoy an uninterrupted 360-degree view of the Gladstone area or take in the sun disappearing behind it, Gladstone's most prominent natural landmark provides for some amazing scenes.

9. Facing Island

The pristine long sandy beaches of Facing Island allow for the perfect backdrop of a stunning sunrise/set that have to be seen to be believed.

10. Boyne Valley
