The Gladstone Region enjoys an ideal tropical climate all year round making the Region a perfect Central Queensland holiday destination. The hot summer, mild winter and picturesque spring/autumn make fun in the sun an ultimate pastime.

The average temperatures range from a moderate 18-20 degrees Celsius in the winter months of June and July and up to 27-29 degrees Celsius in middle of the summer months (December and January). Despite the change in the air temperature, the water temperature remains relatively stable, a comfortable 23-25 degrees Celsius all year long.

The temperate weather and warm water makes the Gladstone Region the perfect place to experience it all. From the rush of catching a wave to the peaceful sound of kookaburras in the outback, the Gladstone Region will be magnificent all year round.

While most of the year the weather is bright and sunny, the Gladstone Region occasionally experiences periods of sub-tropical rain. It might be raining but there is still plenty to do and see in the Gladstone Region! Explore the region, enjoy the magic of paradise and above all be surprised!
