Beginning at 8.00pm. Shirley Valentine, starring Glenda Linscott (star of Prisoner and Murder Call), is a funny yet moving piece of theatre by award winning playwright, Willy Russell. Shirley Valentine is about escape. It takes the form of a monologue by a 42 year old Liverpool mother and housewife, before and after a transforming holiday to Greece. Willy Russell wonderfully portrays, with humour, sympathy and insight, a woman breaking out of the mould cast for her by society. Shirley Valentine is proudly presented thanks to Win Television and 4CC.

Come join the great bunch from Meteors hockey club for their Christmas in July celebrations! The Party will have a festive smorgasbord feast including roasts and plum pudding, as well as heaps of prizes and presents to be given away, including one for best dressed. The party kicks off at 6pm with dinner, followed by trivia from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, then dance the night away with the DJ till 12pm! Tickets are $25 per person which includes your meal, trivia, and a free drink of wine, beer or soft drink on arrival. Licensed event. |

Some displays include; Gold Stamping, Blacksmithing, Chainsaw demonstrations, the Tractor Pull, Steam Displays and much, much more. Enjoy some fine music provided by musicians from around the town every first Sunday at the month at Cedar Galleries. While the event is open to all acoustic performers, it is not a karaoke afternoon, so you can be guaranteed some great relaxing music. The price is $12.00 per adult, and $5.00 per child under 12, which includes a meal. The starting time is 3.00pm, and it usually runs until around 8.30pm, depending on the amount of bands, making it family friendly and not too late of a night for the kids. |
